Trevor Weng is from an Island in Fujian, China. He studied at the NYU Tisch School Of The Arts majoring in Film and TV Production. 

He had worked on numerous productions ranging from narrative short form to music and fashion videos, to commercials. He is the co-founder of the production studio Otion. 

The works of the director Wener Herzog got him into filmmaking. He thinks that film is the most well-rounded medium to present a person’s perspectives on life and crucial matters. And there is something magical about filmmaking for being an overly collective process, every person involved brings in their own world views to the project - the ideas tangle up and evolve. You will never know what the end product will end up being like, but it is guaranteed to be authentic.
